Setting alarm

Hey all..does anyone know how do u turn on the alarm in the ph2 coupe to make sure its on wen u lock the car...coz atm every time i lock the car the alarm light dont blink but the immobiliser light does. im guessin the alarm is off but the immobiliser is obv on lol

ahh mines does....has the two sensors on the front door pillars and a secondary red light where the alarm should be blinking im guessin...just no idea how to set it

ah right, well, its under the scuttle panel, you should have a key to put in the siren.

ahh ok....which side of the scuttle would it be under? i got 2 keys with the car...so im guessin its the same key that i need for the ignition barrel?

no its a small key like a padlock. if yuo dont have it it costs a fair bit from renault! iirc its by the drivers scuttle.

yes yes i do matey Very Happy all the 2.0's bar the 8v i think came with alarms hence y mines has one lol..with ur 172 sitting in urs i think u shud get one too.....btw...is ur lump being spliced to work with the renault immob?
