tbh im still noticing somethings wrong , when i turn the corner to my left , it seems like my wheels catching on something and making a rubbing noise , but ive checked and my car isnt as low on front as it is on the back and theres def nothing for it to catch on which is odd

hmm well mines was doing the same thing but it only got worse and now it means i need new track rod ends as mines were fooked. got some delphi ones on order. it went from rubbing to creaking. whats the drop on ur car again? i dont think a drop would cause anything to rub as my ol' 1.6 was on a 60mm drop and that didnt do anything to the car at all. also i had rubbing as soon as new discs and pads were fitted...i had redstuff pads and needed to bed them in so they were rubbing alot but then they quietned down after about 200 miles so it may be ur brakes bedding in aswell but im no expert on this so sorry if im not right. does the rubbing sound like metal on metal or rubber on rubber? also u gotta factor in that reno cars just geneerally creak and rub here and there lol

well it sort of sounds like im running on a flat when i turn the corner ? Altho as it was in mot last week would they have noticed the track rod end ? I havent a clue what they look for to be honest , how much roughly are you looking at for one of those ? My cars dropped 45mm at front and 2 clicks at the back i think , i didnt lower the back tho the last guy did ! and 45mm was the lowest i could get at the time to fix my cracked springs last year for mot lol !! Awhh cars Sad . . think i might sell her for a cabby though . .

hmm howa bout wheel bearings then? im not sure thats part of the MOT test but wheels bearings tend to make a rubbing noise when going round corners...mines did hence replacement when i had new discs and pads!

track rod ends are like £15 a side. Dale literally just ordered me a new pair yesterday. mines is dropped 45mm front and back aswell although i cant see the drop being the problem although i did have funny noises when it was first dropped but it all stopped when i had new pads n discs n driveshafts etc. although im still getting creaking when turning the steering wheel meaning either ball joints are gone or track rod ends hence why im replacing them both.

im definatly assuming they would have noticed a knackered track rod end unless the guy u took it to wernt paying attention lol. dont sell her for a cabby ur car is great! especially them gold williams wheels which totally set of the car from the rest. and ur car is an amazing colour! its unique Wink

ouch! 400 inc wheels thats a bit of a bargain no? i wud of thought the wheels themselves were worth that much once refurbed. hmm....u sure u want to sell the car tho? i wud totally love those wheels btw! wudnt mind doing a swap either lol. 125,000 sounds alot but if the car has been well looked after it wont matter....wud much rather have a car with more mileage on it that has been looked after well than a car with low mileage and aint had an oil change yet!......as i found out with my car.....still had original gearbox oil in it from the factory till a month ago and its done 39k now.....fokin rediculous....gona be changing engine oil + box oil every 5k from now on.
